Preset FAQ

What Are Lightroom Presets?

Lightroom presets are essentially filters which are designed to make editing easier and help you achieve a unique look. Presets save all the settings and adjustments in Lightroom (such as light and colour), which can then be applied to any other photo to get the same look. This is one way to keep a consistent Instagram feed and speed up the editing process. These are the exact presets that I use to edit my images for Instagram.

How Do I Install Presets?

Once you’ve made a purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to download the presets as well as an installation guide. The PDF guide will tell you how to install both desktop and mobile presets into Lightroom. You can also follow along with the installation video here.

Why Cant I Open The Files On My Phone?

If you’re having issues downloading the files on your phone, make sure to have the latest software update for your phone. Click the download link from the checkout page or the email you received. You’ll see a pop up asking if you want to download the files. Click the download button. Once downloaded, click the ZIP file and it will unzip itself. You’ll see a folder with all the presets inside.

A full installation guide is included when you purchase the presets. You can also view it here or you can follow along with the installation video here.

Can I Pay With Any Currency?

All the items in the store are in AUD. If you’re purchasing with a different currency, your bank will automatically convert it for you.

What Payment Methods Do You Accept?

You can pay via PayPal or with your credit/debit card if you don’t have a PayPal account.

What Programs Do I Need?

Desktop Presets: Adobe Lightroom Classic (A Lightroom subscription is required for the desktop version, although there is a free 7 day trial). Make sure you have the latest version installed

Mobile Presets: Lightroom CC Mobile App (Free for mobile and no subscription is required)

Do The Presets Work For RAW and JPEG Images?

Yes, these presets have been designed and tweaked for both RAW and JPEG images. However, editing on a RAW is recommended when using my desktop presets as it gives you much greater control over the final image. Don’t worry if you don’t shoot RAW as the presets still work great on all JPEG images.

What Is The Difference Between The Mobile Presets And The Desktop Presets?

The mobile presets have been specifically designed to be compatible with the Lightroom mobile app and iPhone photos. Mobile presets are best used as a quick way to edit your images on the go. While the desktop presets work for all image types, they’re primarily designed for images taken on a DSLR. The desktop presets do not work on the mobile version of Lightroom.

Will The Presets Work With One Click?

Yes, most of the time they will work with one click. However all photos are different and not every preset will work straight away. Some minor adjustments may have to be made to compensate for different lighting conditions. Adjusting the white balance, exposure and skin tones will usually do the trick!

Do You Offer Refunds?

Unfortunately not, as the products are digitally downloaded. These cannot be returned which is why I cannot offer refunds. If you’re having troubles or need help, please email me at lola.hubner@hotmail.com and I’ll get back to you ASAP!

Print FAQ

Do you sell framed prints?

At this time we currently don’t offer framed prints. All of our prints are carefully rolled and placed in a rigid cardboard tube.

What kind of paper quality do you use?

We use Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper (308gsm) which is one of the world’s most popular papers for high-quality fine art printing. It has a soft texture with a lightly defined felt structure and matte finish. This paper produces excellent prints that feature brilliant colours, natural white tones and excellent black saturation. The paper is age resistant and we have chosen a matte surface without reflections to create a premium feel with no glare.

Are your prints eco conscious?

We pride ourselves on being eco conscious which is why each print is made to order, minimising waste. Our paper is also sustainably sourced, plastic free and vegan friendly. Our products are shipped from local fulfilment centres which reduces carbon emissions.

What print sizes are available?

20x25cm (8x10”)

30x40cm (12x16”)

40x50cm (16x20”)
